Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin 700ml

The aim of Glendalough Distillery is to recapture Ireland’s lost heritage of great spirit production and create new, exciting and contemporary brands. After many  attempts, Glendalough Distillery has captured four seasons in one bottle. Fresh wild botanicals are used in the making of Glendalough Gin - never dried which are wild from the mountains around the distillery. They are then placed in the still within hours of foraging. Each, sustainably foraged by one person. They are then slow-distilled to tease out delicate flavours. Tiny batches, less than 250 litres with cut-points decided batch by batch, by smell and taste, never automatically. 

On the nose, fresh Spring notes with juniper, citrus, pine. A forest clearing in bloom. Cool and mellow on the palate at first, rushing to nectarous Summer flowers and hints of Autumn fruits finally giving way to warm spice. Long and sylvan finish, with warm winter spices.
