When it comes to Clynelish, finding almost anything besides the standard issue 14 year old is a cause for celebration. A tiny percentage is sold as a single cask, the rest is allocated to Johnnie Walker's Gold blend.
Spiced apple aromas complement stewed raisin and rich fruitcake. Sherry and raspberry compote flavours give way to cracked black pepper. A medium finish comes with toasted hazelnuts and Summer fruits.
Clynelish Single Malt Whisky is known for being an essential ingredient in Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, however it is also a popular Highland single malt in it's own right. With a distinctive oily and waxy character, Clynelish is a very unique Highland single malt scotch whisky.
