Aged in a mixture of first-fill American Sherry hogshead and refill Sherry butts, the Vintage 1988 release from Glenrothes marks one of their oldest releases. Known for its complexity and depth of flavour, particularly as it ages, this fine old dram carries a rich flavour of dried fruits and toffee notes, like a warm sticky date pudding topped with butterscotch. A distinctive soft and creamy vanilla'd flavour and texture on the palate leads to a long and spiced oaky finish with great length. A grand old Speyside single malt.
