Fettercairn Distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Ramsay, owner of the Fasque estate, who converted a corn mill at Nethermill into a distillery.
Today, Fettercairn distillery produces light, balanced whiskies.
Nose: Butterscotch, pine needles, lemon icing and gingerbread.
Taste: Fresh, marshmallows, lemongrass, sweet chillies, carrot cake and green olives. Slightly floral but becoming creamier
Finish: Satay sauce, pickled ginger and sauvignon blanc. Touch of icing sugar and then lemon drizzle cake.
