Tomintoul 36 Year Old 1976 Bottled 2013 700ml 40%
The 1976 Vintage is a malt of outstanding quality, these casks have been carefully selected by Robert Fleming for their exceptional characteristics.
In 2007, the original bottling of Tomintoul 1976 Vintage captured the whisky at 31 years old. The latest bottling (2013) from the same vintage reveals a deliciously maturer malt of infinitely richer character, a full 5 years older at 36 years of age when bottled. The consumer now has the opportunity to enjoy this rarest of whiskies from an exceptional vintage of Tomintoul Distillery.
Nose: Hints of rum soaked raisins with a touch of fruity maltiness.
Palate: Round and soft with as some sweetness and fruit. Pleasantly complete yet delicate.
Finish: Mature, Long and Elegant.
