Teeling's Revival series comes to its conclusion with Volume V, which is a 12-year-old single malt Irish whiskey initially in ex-Bourbon barrels. Following that maturation, the whiskey was moved over to Cognac and brandy barrels for a finishing period, then bottled at 46% ABV. A release of 15,000 bottles.
Tasting Note
Nose: Buttery biscuits, green apple, cinnamon rolls, quince, hay.
Palate: White grape, Jamaican Ginger Cake, soft tropical fruit, diced almond, a touch of mango chutney.
Finish: Clementine, nutmeg and vanilla tannins.
