The nose is bright with notes of raspberry and strawberry liquorice, hints of citrus peel, sweet toffee and soft spice. Baked apples open the palate accompanied by stewed raisins and hints and menthol. Blackcurrants mingle with an array of mixed herbs, before leaving you on the finish with toasted almonds and rich forest fruits.
Linkwood Distillery is a single malt scotch whisky distillery located in Elgin, in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, this single malt scotch didn't start production until 1824. It is known for freshness to the palate, followed by a thick texture that slows the whisky down in the mouth from using the springs near Milbuies Loch. Linkwood is known for producing apple, floral, vanilla and dry flavour notes that are always a crowd-pleaser.
