Caol Ila 2009 - 13 Year Old Sassicaia Finish Connoisseurs Choice Whisky 700ml

A 2009 Caol Ila single malt from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail that was initially matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and finished for two years in an ex-Sassicaia wine cask, before being bottled in November 2022 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Aromas of dried figs, cured meats and cinnamon spice fill the nose, complemented by notes of redcurrant, black pepper, lemon peel, forest fruits and soft smoke throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
