Jura 'Old Malt Cask' 2008 / 13 Year Old Hunter Laing's Whisky 700ml
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Filled from a single ex-sherry butt, this new single cask hails from the Isle of Jura on the west coast of Scotland. The character of this cask shows fudge, lemon curd and earthy notes, with stewed pears, pickled ginger and oak shavings. The finish is long and sweetly oaky. A rare treat to see this cask type, especially independent bottled, from Jura.
