Released in early 2019, this 12 year old single malt from Tobermory was launched in celebration of the distillery returning to life after a two year break! This expression slumbered peacefully in American oak casks for a dozen years before being bottled at 46.3%
Tobermory 12 year old has a palette of vibrant fruit and spice with a subtle saltiness reflective of our harbour waters here at Tobermory.
Nose: Rich fruit, orange and citrus notes, fresh floral hints and rich oak with vanilla and spice.
Palate: Sweet orange and citrus, creamy caramel and rich vanilla with spicy hints of cinnamon and clove.
Finish: Long and lingering vanilla and spice.
