The Feathery Blended Malt Whisky 700ml

The inaugural whisky in our range celebrating original Scottish craftsmanship. Matured in first-class sherry wood for a slightly sweeter, fuller and more rounded character than standard malts, The Feathery is a terrific example of a Highland blended malt. Don't just take our word for it though it's recently been voted a finalist in the prestigious Ultimate Spirits Challenge in New York, judged by the most knowledgeable drink experts in the world! In fact, it was only kept from achieving the highest honour by our own Sheep Dip Islay whisky. Deep golden brown in colour, The Feathery is dry and nutty on the nose with sweet, creamy vanilla and sherry notes plus a wee hint of ginger spice. It's equally warming and full bodied to taste, with rich oak and deliciously sweet sherry flavoured sultanas, orange segments, raisins and soft fruits. Finishing in spiced orange, chocolate and definite butterscotch flavours, it promises a great balance of citrus, dried fruit, spice and caramel.
