The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed Dram honours George Smith’s legacy as the first person to obtain a whisky making license in the Glenlivet Valley in 1824. Our daring dram returns with a First Fill Double Oak matured Single Malt whisky.

Nose: Soft peaches, strawberry jam intertwined with warming cinnamon and gingerbread.

Palate: Golden honey, vanilla custard layered perfectly with hazelnut and liquorice.

This second limited edition celebrates George Smith as the first person to obtain a whisky making license in the Glenlivet Valley. He was a bold visionary who after years of illegally distilling his whisky, sought a legal pass that enabled him to produce higher quality whisky that travelled beyond the glen.
